The Captain Cook

The Captain Cook is the top of the range and also the latest annexe to be added to the Explorer Annexe Collection.
After listening to our customers talk about their needs while traveling throughout Australia we designed an annexe to better suit the Aussie traveler. The Captain Cook is an upgrade from The Flinders and has a touch of European style. Similar to The Flinders, The Captain Cook features a modern two tone annexe with one third vinyl on the base and two thirds canvas, all colour coordinated to suit your van. The major differences are the windows. All the windows work on the same principle as an annexe door with zips going down to the ground, roll up clear plastic on the outside and roll up heavy duty insect proof mesh on the inside with detachable curtains for privacy. This style of annexe has clear plastic flaps so you can see out when it is cold, windy or raining. As soon as it stops however, it can be rolled up leaving just the mesh. If you don't want your annexe there at all you can roll up the mesh as well so you can walk in and out of your windows. As night approaches, you can then roll down both the mesh and clear plastic and pull across your curtains for total privacy. The Captain Cook Annexe is Australia Wide Annexe's most popular annexe.
